Pres. L.D. Blankenship called the meeting to order @7:15PM. The Financial Secretary was absent all other officers present.

BILLS AND COMMUNICATIONS:

-         S. Cox 3 days wage (12 hr shift or 36 hrs) for annual wage negotiations.

-         L.D. Blankenship phone bill; 3 days wage for annual wage negotiations.

-         IBEW Journal Magazine.

-         Power lineman Magazine.

-         Christmas card from 10th Dist.

-         Thank you card from Cynthia Scott for supporting her.

-         Thank you letter from Local 760 Pres. George Bove.

-         Letter from J. Walters concerning receipt of political fund check.

-         Letter from Local 481 expressing invitation to their 100th anniversary celebration.

-         AFL-CIO newsletter.

-         Letter on International Human Rights Day nationwide events.

-         Day of action informational rally/picket on December 10th for more information see Roger Mustard.

REPORTS OF THE E-BOARD:

-         Announced the Local 360 70th anniversary celebration is in the planning stages for sometime in either spring or summer 2006.

-         Trying to get sample of Local’s pin to show at next union meeting.

PROPOSITION OF MEMBERSHIP:

-         Honorary withdraw of memberships for 2 personnel due to retirement.

REPORTS OF DELEGATES AND COMMITTEES:

-         Last 2 meetings at Knoxville Area Central Labor Council have not had a quorum due to lack of participants required. Several elected positions are open as well.

-         S. Cox discussed the inception of a committee concerning training for CCDO’s.

REPORTS OF ACCIDENTS, SICKNESS OR DEATHS:

-         Tom Bostic was in an accident at John Sevier.

-         R. Meade from Norris receiving treatments for blood disorder.

-         Update on Phil Seals and discussed his placement on the leave donor list and all members were challenged to donate at least 8hrs to him.

-         Update on Laughton Seals heart surgery.

-         Death benefit paid for Brother Arthur D Hayes. J.R. Cox requests information on his family or Martha Nicholas and Ruth Jackson. Terrell Gass is a person of interest for this information as he was the witness who signed his card.

NEW BUISNESS:

-         Christmas Children’s Fund requested to go to 3 places 1 each handled by L.D. Blankenship, J.R. Cox and S. Cox.

-         Wage negotiations start 12-7-05.

GOOD OF THE UNION:

-         Thank you from Alan Smith for support during training.

-         Chris Baber won the door prize.
