Pres. Blankenship called the meeting to order at 7:05PM.  All officers  present.

BILLS AND COMMUNICATIONS:

-         Discussed remembrance of anniversary of death for Tom Bostic.

-         Thank you card from Rowena Seals for donations and support.

-         Letter from AFL-CIO board meeting Dec.14th in Nashville. Financial statement delayed.

-         Letter from AFL-CIO board concerning USW Local 878 @ Goodyear plant on strike over benefits. They are asking for donations for Christmas gifts, food, etc.

-         Christmas card from 10th District.

-         AFL-CIO Christmas open house on December 15th from 11-3.

-         Letter from J. Walters concerning COPE payment

-         Letter from Bobby Klein concerning IBEW 2007 schedule.

-         Thank you card for business from USA Promotions.

-         Letter from Bobby Klein concerning Union Plus scholarship fund accessible online.

-          Letter from J. Lee concerning Steelworkers on strike.

-         Union World Newspaper.

-         Letter from K. Craig concerning wage conference schedule starting at 10am December 6th – December 8th.

-         Thank you letter from Brent Hall for support of Harold Ford JR. Campaign.

-         Thank you letter from Bobby Klein for elections help.

-         Political legislation affairs manual.

-         In addition to the minutes from November Curt Ditzer legal fund for his stepson.

-         S. Cox requests 3 days wages for wage negotiations

-         L.D. Blankenship requests 3 days wages for wage negotiations, half-day wages and mileage for AFL-CIO board meeting, phone bill and flowers for Gene Castele’s dad.

-         J. Poore grievance to labor relations

-         Discussed referrals not being accepted at all plants.

PROPOSITION OF NEW MEMBERSHIP:

-         Charles Lowery and Rick Morgan CCDO’s at John Sevier swore in.

REPORTS OF DELEGATES AND COMMITTEES:

-         R. Mustard discussed political election update Democrat party won congress.

REPORTS OF ACCIDENTS, SICKNESS OR DEATHS:

-         Death benefit for Elbert W. Crawford charter was draped in a moment of silence.

UNFINISHED BUISNESS:

-         Tim Wilkey needed names of who to make checks to for Christmas fund.

-         Discussed form for COPE contributions for individuals.

GOOD OF THE UNION:

-         Discussed referrals for jobs issues for J.R. Cox.

-         Discussed property maintenance worker.

-         Discussion on J. Shadrack grievance.

-         Discussion on Electrical Tech training.

-         Discussion on staffing for scrubbers from TVA, no baseline standard.

-         Discussion on wage data approximately 3.5%.

-         Discussion on updates address for members.

-         Rick Morgan won the door prize.

The meeting was adjourned at 8:30PM. The next meeting is scheduled for January 2, 2007.
