Pres. Turner called the meeting to order at 7:20PM. All officers present.
BILLS AND COMMUNICATIONS:
- Letter from Ed Hill concerning submitted by-law changes being processed and approved.
- Letter from Keith Craig concerning panel meeting in Feb.
- Letter from Keith Craig concerning IBEW member at Widows Creek Jonathan D. Stephenson has been approved for the Leave Transfer program.
- Letter from Keith Craig concerning 2009 IBEW projected schedule of conferences and events thus far.
- Letter from Mark Valerio B.M. Local 249 concerning request for information regarding use of CCA poles.
- Request for reimbursement to Steve Cox for 1 day wages Labor Relation meeting over LJTSC and Payroll issues at Kingston.
- Request for reimbursement to JR Cox for 2 days for labor relations hearing at Kingston and State audit and mileage for both.
- Request for reimbursement to Tim Wilkey for meeting on the budget 1 days wages.
- Request for reimbursement to Jason Melton for 2 hrs for Coal tower foreman interviews at Bull Run.
- Request for reimbursement to Roger Mustard II for 4 hrs for State audit and mileage.
REPORTS OF E-BOARD:
- Discussion on 1 year trial for moving the meeting to different locations throughout the year. They will be in Knoxville, Morristown & Roane County.
- Discussion on Recording Secretary being deployed and how to fill this on a temporary basis.
REPORTS OF OFFICERS:
- Discussion on Maintenance Manager’s meeting over issues happening at Bull Run.
- JR Cox discussed State of TN Dept. of Labor and Development Security Division audit of the Local’s records. The audit primarily dealt with unemployment insurance payments.
- JR Cox discussed payroll issues going on in Fossil Org.

REPORTS OF DELEGATES OR COMMITTEES:
- Anniversary Committee.
UNFINISHED BUSINESS:
- Development of Local budget ongoing with plans of meeting with treasurer to look at 2008 records conducted on 1/29/09.
- Local newsletter: any suggestions, ideas etc. please send them to Roger Mustard II.
- Expense and Procedure policy in draft status.
- Labor relations hearing for grievance at Bull Run involving qualifications for filling Unit Operator positions.
NEW BUSINESS:
- Meeting to discuss multi-skill and foreman changes will be on March 11, 2009 in Nashville.
- Job stewards training March 7th from 9-3 in Knoxville.
GOOD OF THE UNION:
- Travis Agee won the door prize.
The meeting was adjourned at 8:35PM. The next meeting is scheduled for March 3, 2009 at Knoxville.
